How do my security funds work?
Your security funds are held in a financial institution insured by the Canada Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC), a federal Crown corporation. Because your security funds secure your card, you cannot make withdrawals. If you decide to close your credit card account, send us your full payment of your credit card balance, and we will return your security funds to you.
